• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with procedures.
• Verify identification, access credentials, shipping documentation, and entry requirements; report discrepancies to the site contact or leadership.
• Monitor screening equipment and access points, document activities, and report incidents calmly and clearly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and vehicles entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Verify identification, access credentials, shipping documentation, and authorized entry requirements; report discrepancies to the appropriate site contact or Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor screening equipment and access points, document screening‑related activities, and report incidents or unusual conditions in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, shipping and receiving areas, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high-school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
