Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, is seeking a Security Officer Credential Management in Harrisburg, PA to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and assist visitors and drivers with professionalism.

As a full-time role with a daytime schedule and 18.50 per hour, you will join a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity while delivering reliable access control and incident

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required, where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access points, verify identification and credentials, and document entry/exit activity.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic at gates and loading areas, deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site protocols, notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading dock areas.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist visitors, employees, and drivers with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify identification and credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry and exit activity.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic at gates and loading areas, report unauthorized access attempts, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading dock areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
