Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and activity at the location to help deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, business spaces, and the perimeter, documenting observations and completing required reports.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Management in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while documenting security-related activities and using computer or tablet systems as needed. What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
