Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Lifecycle in Honolulu, HI. You will safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites, manage access control, verify credentials, and maintain entry records while delivering strong customer service and clear communication.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $20.50 per hour and a daytime schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Allied Universal offers a supportive team environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control or badge systems preferred.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law; compliant with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and assist with maintaining an orderly environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading docks, the business, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
