Job summary

Allied Universal in Davie, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Credential Issuance to safeguard tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate site. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents with professionalism and calm under pressure.

You will build a flexible schedule using our Claim a Shift platform, while delivering outstanding customer service, teamwork, and adherence to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per laws.
• Allied Universal follows laws on criminal histories.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws; driver’s license for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor entry points and verify authorized access for tenants, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, package, and key-control records as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
