Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer in Concord, MA. You will patrol healthcare locations, deter incidents, assist patients and staff with directions, and maintain a visible security presence.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, recording incidents, and coordinating with site leadership. CPR certification is preferred; a background check and drug screening are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law for employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances and other critical situations calmly and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, escorts, and other access-control procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, escorts, and other access-control procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
