Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer CPR Certified Patrol in Tempe, AZ. You will monitor and protect clients across a financial institution and other sites, providing a friendly, professional security presence and top-level customer service.

In this full-time role, you will conduct unarmed patrols, verify access, document incidents, and respond to alarms.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while enforcing site policies and safety procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations; escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of banking offices, common areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report irregular conditions to site personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports per Allied Universal requirements.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report irregular conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
