Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer at a correctional site in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support access control while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, the ability to use a computer or tablet, and familiarity with alarm panels and badge/access control systems.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as per law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

You will support access control, respond to alarms, document activity using computer or tablet systems, and provide professional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:45 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 06:45 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
