Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor entrances/exits, verify access credentials, and direct guests per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document actions per site policies.
• Prepare clear reports of daily activities and incidents for leadership.

As a Security Officer - Corporate Protection in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff while using technology to document activities. Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed - 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Thur - 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Fri - 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sat - 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun - 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity; verify access credentials and follow site procedures for directing guests and reporting access-related issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
