Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior, exterior, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization; maintain logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and coordinate with site contacts or authorities.
• Report maintenance concerns, property damage, and other conditions to designated personnel.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Report maintenance concerns, property damage, and other observed conditions to designated personnel in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
