Allied Universal in Farmington, CT is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable security and customer service at a banking/financial site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to boost earnings.

The position requires at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security‑related activities.

As a Security Officer Corporate Financial in Farmington, CT, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$22.12 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
