Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a corporate campus in Culver City, CA. The role focuses on patrolling, access control, and delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

This position offers a flexible part-time schedule with daytime shifts. A valid driver’s license is required, and prior security experience is valued. Training and growth opportunities are provided as part of Allied Universal’s team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct individuals in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and escalated concerns according to established procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity through accurate reports and maintain professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
