Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Report security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

What You'll Do:
