Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and food service personnel.
• Monitor the lobby desk during the overnight shift.
• Assist with access control procedures and monitor property access.
• Maintain awareness of lobby activity and surrounding areas.
• Identify and report safety, security, or access concerns.
• Prepare and maintain daily activity and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, tenants, visitors, and building personnel.
• Follow post orders and client procedures.

Overview

United Protective Services is seeking a professional and customer-service-focused Lobby Desk Security Officer to provide overnight security coverage at a client property.

This position is ideal for someone with overnight concierge, lobby, front desk, or security experience. The officer will interact with clients, tenants, visitors, and occasionally food service personnel while maintaining a professional, safe, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service and assistance to clients, tenants, visitors, guests, and food service personnel
• Monitor and maintain the lobby desk throughout the overnight shift
• Monitor property access and assist with access control procedures
• Maintain awareness of lobby activity and surrounding areas
• Identify and report safety, security, or access concerns
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Communicate effectively with clients, tenants, visitors, and building personnel
• Follow post orders, client procedures, and company policies
• Maintain a professional and welcoming lobby environment

Requirements

• Previous overnight concierge, lobby, front desk, or security experience preferred
• Access control experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to remain attentive throughout an overnight shift
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and courteous demeanor
• Ability to successfully complete required onboarding and training
