Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer in Rancho Cordova, CA. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service and relational engagement as you greet visitors, verify identity, and guide guests across shifts in office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

You will perform access control, patrols, and incident handling while coordinating with emergency teams. A HS diploma or GED is required, along with a valid BSIS Guard Card and additional security trainings.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security experience and strong customer service skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• BSIS Guard Card and completion of 32hr BSIS security trainings (additional training can be obtained during hiring).

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist visitors, verify identity, and guide guests.
• Manage access control for facilities.
• Conduct regular patrols and report security issues.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency services.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Prepare and file incident reports and communicate concerns.

As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

• Site Location: Rancho Cordova, CA
• 40 hours per week, Friday - Tuesday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

Responsibilities Of a Concierge Security Officer

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications For Concierge Security Officer

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• One year of security experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and an additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process)
