Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Compliance Review in Joliet, IL. You will patrol, monitor access, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and teamwork.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $18.39 per hour. You will support site operations and follow established procedures, with opportunities for growth and development within a dynamic logistics and distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency services.
• Conduct regular patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain visitor/incident documentation.
• Observe freight movement and facility activity, report unusual conditions and follow escalation procedures.
