Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Illinois (Channahon area) to protect clients across industries and provide excellent customer service. The role pays $19.00 per hour with opportunities to contribute to a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background investigation required by federal/state/local laws; criminal histories considered per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws; driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following safety and security procedures and site policies; participate in emergency response as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the client site and perimeter; vary by site.
