Allied Universal in Joliet, IL is hiring a Security Officer for Compliance Review. You will monitor facilities, patrol areas, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver professional customer service to clients across logistics and distribution sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Observe freight movement and facility activity, report unusual conditions or security-related concerns, and follow established escalation procedures.

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
