Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Client Service Patrol in Saint Louis, MO. You will provide security services at a tech/media/telecom location, patrol areas, manage access control, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include documenting observations, responding to alarms, and delivering outstanding customer service to employees and visitors while using technology to log activities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and facility conditions; verify credentials and direct individuals per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; notify personnel and document observations and actions.
• Prepare accurate logs and incident reports; communicate relevant information to site contacts and leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a telecommunications and technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and facility conditions; verify credentials and direct individuals according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support a professional environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
