As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity. You will interact with personnel and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret

$29.00 / Hour - TS

$38.38 / Hour - Yankee White

Job Schedule:

Day	Time
Wed	10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Fri	06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Sat	06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Sun	06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the aerospace and defense location.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points.
• Support emergency response activities according to established protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Texas Armed Security Professional License.
• Must have an armed designation as required for the position.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet AU Driver Policy requirements.
• Must hold a Level III Armed Security Officer Certification for Texas.
• Must have an active Department of Defense Secret or higher Clearance.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
