Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Reception) in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will serve at a front desk, manage access, verify credentials, and respond to security events in an aerospace/defense setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and clients in an aerospace/defense environment.
• Monitor access, verify IDs and credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain logs.
• Answer calls, receive deliveries, and coordinate with staff to support daily operations.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and security situations per procedures.
• Maintain records of access activity and incidents and communicate with leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and clients at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor visitor access, verify identification and credentials, issue visitor badges, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests in accordance with established site procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, coordinate with appropriate personnel, and provide clear directions and information to support daily operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of access activity, incidents, and other security-related matters, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
