Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Front Office Security Officer in Salt Lake City, UT. You will welcome visitors, verify credentials, monitor access, and respond professionally to incidents at an aerospace/defense site.

The role requires at least one year of security experience and an active DoD Secret clearance, with a high school diploma. You will work a night schedule under the Claim a Shift platform, helping keep the facility safe while supporting a collaborative, customer-focused

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Ages: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals per procedures.
• Monitor access points, reception-area activity, alarms, and communications systems; report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while providing professional support to the facility and its occupants.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
