• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor/contractor records, and report discrepancies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate contacts.
• Complete accurate reports and incident documentation for Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Clearance Required Patrol Response in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report access-related discrepancies according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and authorized site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
