Allied Universal in Houston, TX seeks a Security Officer Full Time Checkpoint Entry Driver to safeguard clients across multiple industries. This role combines access control duties with driving responsibilities; a valid driver's license is required, and you will maintain a visible presence while delivering professional customer service.

Shifts are daytime, with a weekly schedule from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM across five days.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Checkpoint Entry Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service at a dynamic location. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor entry and exit in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
