Job Title: Security Officer

This casual position is located at Sherwood Oaks, a Continuing Care Retirement Community, in Cranberry Township, PA.

Role Overview

Our Security Officers provide a uniformed security presence by patrolling senior residence communities, buildings, grounds, and associated areas to deter criminal activity, document activities, and contact law enforcement when necessary. They also assist with periodic transportation needs for residents to medical appointments and local trips, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

We seek Security Officers who are responsible, trustworthy, and demonstrate high personal integrity. Candidates must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid PA Driver's License
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle potentially volatile situations calmly
• Act 235 Clearance, with or without Firearms, or the ability to complete certification within 9 months of hire
