Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer to protect clients across various sectors including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The role starts at $19.00 per hour on a part-time basis with Sunday & Monday (08:00-16:00) or Tuesday & Wednesday (16:00-00:00) shifts and a commitment to safety and customer service.

You will perform routine patrols, follow site-specific policies, and coordinate effectively with clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state and local laws; drug screen required
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments may vary by client site
