Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Seattle, WA. You will monitor and patrol the property, deter incidents, and support access control with a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Criminal background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or maintenance issues to site contacts.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and logs per Allied Universal requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, property concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
