Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Response in Seattle, WA. You will monitor a premier commercial tower, deter incidents, and support access control while delivering professional customer service. The role requires a minimum of 2 years security experience and a high school diploma.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $22.40 per hour. Shifts include DayTime and Night schedules, with a commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and perimeter.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Response in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a premier commercial tower location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, assist tenants and visitors, and provide professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and tenant interactions in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
