Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Assistant in Seattle, WA. You will perform routine patrols, deter incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $22.90 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime and evening shifts, including weekends. This role requires compliance with background checks and drug screening where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation per applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter points.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or suspicious activity to site management.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
