Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Santa Ana, CA to provide front-desk security at a financial institution. You will greet employees and visitors, manage access control, and maintain a safe, professional lobby environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.

• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide front-desk customer service by greeting employees, clients, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution location.
• Manage visitor access by verifying IDs, following site procedures, issuing credentials, and recording visits.
• Monitor access points, lobby activity, alarms, and security systems; report anomalies as required.
• Respond to incidents calmly and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Support a professional lobby environment and deter unauthorized access.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional front-desk customer service by greeting employees, clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner at a financial institution location.
• Manage visitor access by verifying identification, following site-specific entry procedures, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, lobby activity, alarms, and security-related systems; promptly report unusual activity or concerns according to site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, visitor inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Support a professional lobby environment by providing directions, communicating applicable site policies, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
