Job summary

United Security Inc. in Boston is seeking a part-time security officer for a 3rd shift at a corporate office complex. Duties include patrolling designated areas on foot, monitoring entrances, and greeting employees and visitors.

You will deliver high levels of customer service, maintain access control, and adhere to all rules while presenting a professional image. A high school diploma or GED and solid computer skills are required; the role offers growth opportunities and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and parking areas, identify unsafe conditions and improperly secured areas/property to help prevent theft, injuries or damages.
• Provide a high level of customer service by interacting with visitors and staff in a professional manner that is proactive, friendly and helpful
• Projects a positive image in dress and decorum.
• Maintains regular, consistent attendance record.
• Knowledgeable of and adheres to all rules and regulations, policies, and orders.
• Interacts with guests and employees in a professional manner.

Job Summary: USI is seeking high level security officers for a corporate office complex. Job Duties may include performing security patrols of designated areas by foot, observing for any conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards, maintaining access control of premises and monitoring entrances and exits. Attending to the front desk, and greeting customers. Security Officers provide high level of customer service and assistance to clients, client employees and visitors in a polite and professional manner.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Proficient with technology and using multiple software and applications
• Customer service experience preferred
• Ability to type quickly to process visitors and employees efficiently.
• Speak clearly and concisely
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to conduct foot patrols frequently
