Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Bilingual Patrol Services in Washington, DC. You will serve clients in financial institutions, patrol premises, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating fluently in Spanish. The role is full-time with a schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at a financial site in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish (speaking, reading, writing).
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment law.
• Possession of a security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/employee/contractor authorization.
• Document patrols and incidents clearly and communicate with site leadership.

As a Security Officer Bilingual Patrol Services in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly in fluent Spanish, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and/or contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
