• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and support adherence to entry and property-control procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate information to leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Spanish Language Patrol in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will assist with maintaining a welcoming environment for employees and visitors while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and tenants at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and support adherence to established entry and property-control procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
