You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a retail distribution center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe shipping and receiving operations, support traffic flow at designated entry points, and communicate security-related information to site leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
