Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Studio Patrol in Los Angeles, CA. You will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

This full-time role requires 2+ years in security, CPR preferred, and badge access experience. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered, with a schedule covering evenings and weekdays.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of security-related experience required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and fellow team members while supporting a welcoming and orderly commercial environment.

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
