Job Description

As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol in SUNNYVALE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will interact with staff and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together with integrity and a people-first approach to create a secure environment for all.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day TimeSat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the location.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification, and following established protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with site management and law enforcement when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements is required for driving positions.
  • At least 6 months of prior security experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
