Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Patrol in Seattle, WA. You will monitor and patrol banking areas, entrances, parking lots, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter while delivering excellent customer service and enforcing security procedures.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of security experience, a concealed carry permit, and the ability to work a fixed schedule with part-time hours. CPR/First Aid is preferred, and an armed guard card or license is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas with a professional presence.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $32.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 08:00 AM - 05:15 PM
• Wed: 08:00 AM - 05:15 PM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 05:15 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas while maintaining a professional presence.
• Maintain required documentation, including daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
