Allied Universal in Seattle, WA seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Patrol Emergency Aid to deter incidents and protect clients across multiple sites, including financial institutions. You will patrol, deter, and respond with professional judgment while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires armed duties, 2+ years of security experience, and relevant licenses, with a schedule that accommodates DayTime Thur and Fri shifts. Compensation is $32.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Concealed carry weapons permit.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors per site policies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms with calm, professional conduct and follow escalation/reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify authorized entry.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with laws and site procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
