Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following site-specific reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor inbound/outbound traffic and report irregularities to site contacts.

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Salina, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, and help deter security-related incidents while delivering service with integrity. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic, report irregularities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
