Allied Universal in Juno Beach, Florida, is hiring a Security Officer for a corporate lobby role. You will serve clients across utilities and other industries, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professional, calm communication.

This full-time daytime position pays $19.00 per hour with driver’s license required, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years of security experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard card is required.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by performing security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access, verify authorization, and document visitor and contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, coordinating with site contacts and responders.
• Complete logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation per policy.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Corporate Lobby in Juno Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support security-related operations. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, office areas, equipment yards, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete required activity logs, patrol reports, incident documentation, and other security-related records in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
