Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel while following site security procedures.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear activity reports and communicate with tenants, management, and leadership.

As a Security Officer Badge Systems Patrol in Hackettstown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building entry procedures in accordance with site requirements, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, management, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
