Allied Universal in Everett, MA is hiring a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time for a designated site. Schedule: Daytime, Wed 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Responsibilities include customer service, patrols, access control, incident response, and accurate reporting while following site

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet; access control/badge experience preferred.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Reconciliation in Everett, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, following visitor procedures, and documenting entry and exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports on patrol observations, incidents, access activity, and other security‑related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
