Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in Wilmington, MA. The role offers a flexible schedule with pay rate of $20.32 per hour and shifts including Wed 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM and Thur 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM.

You will provide customer service, monitor access points, perform patrols, and document incidents. You will be part of a team focused on safety, integrity, and reliable service for a technology-focused location.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports, maintaining professional communication with clients, employees, and emergency responders when required.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
