Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Building Patrol in Akron, OH. You will safeguard a healthcare location, perform armed patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

Armed guard card is required; candidates must be 21+, have a HS diploma or equivalent, and pass background checks and drug screening where allowed by law. Shift schedule includes DayTime, Sat and Sun rotations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare service location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Carry assigned firearm and other equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site-specific post orders.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and report concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
