Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer in Vineland, NJ. The role centers on serving clients, maintaining a visible armed presence, and addressing security concerns with professionalism to keep students, staff, and visitors safe.

Shifts are full time with a pay rate of $20.73 per hour. You will perform patrols, respond to incidents, and support a welcoming environment on educational sites within our diverse client base.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent.
• Armed guard card or license.
• College degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:30 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 07:30 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 07:30 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 07:30 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:30 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
