Job summary

Allied Universal in Vineland, NJ seeks a Security Officer Armed Protection Patrol to serve and safeguard clients across multiple sites. You will monitor, patrol and deter incidents with a visible, professional presence, respond to emergencies, and communicate clearly with students, staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years law enforcement, military, or security experience (or a college degree), a concealed carry permit, an armed guard card, and the ability to pass background and drug

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Protection Patrol in Vineland, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a school location, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will respond to incidents, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $22.64 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
