Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced - Part Time at a De Leon Springs, FL site. This role offers reliable, fixed hours with the flexibility to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will carry out security procedures, respond to incidents, monitor access, and prepare reports while supporting a safe environment for clients and colleagues. Armed badge clearance required.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training programs required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Badge Clearance Required in De Leon Springs, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established armed-post procedures and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as assigned, and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, access activities, and emergency responses.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
