Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Armed) in Riviera Beach, FL. The role emphasizes customer service, patrols, access control, and incident response at an aerospace/defense site.

You will join a team dedicated to safety, compliance, and professional conduct, with opportunities for shift flexibility and ongoing training. A valid DoD Secret Clearance and armed guard certification are required to qualify.

Formación

• Possess at least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law and policy.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, restricted-access points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report access irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation and promptly communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
