• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors while enforcing access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry points and verify authorization for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries.
• Respond calmly and professionally to security concerns and incidents, documenting activity as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property personnel, and emergency responders regarding security needs.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry points and verify authorization for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with community procedures.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting activity as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property personnel, and emergency responders regarding security-related concerns and access requests.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience or criminal justice degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
