Allied Universal, a leading security services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer at the Minneapolis front desk. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor systems, and respond to alarms, delivering excellent customer service in a transportation setting.

You will work daytime shifts with a schedule that supports flexibility and growth. A background check and drug screening are required by law, and a valid driver’s license is needed for driving roles.

Formación

• At least 1 year of armed security experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service at a front desk in a transportation location by following site-specific security procedures, visitor management practices, and access-control requirements.
• Greet, screen, and direct visitors, employees, contractors, and guests; verify credentials and maintain visitor logs per site policies.
• Monitor front-desk activity and access points, report unusual activity or access concerns, deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established emergency protocols.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, travelers, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security concerns, requests, and incident documentation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a front desk in a transportation location by following site-specific security-related procedures, visitor management practices, and access-control requirements.
• Greet, screen, and direct visitors, employees, contractors, and guests; verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor front-desk activity and access points, report unusual activity or access concerns, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, travelers, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, requests, and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
